Landscapes – Series 1

View                              Mexico – Landscapes, Series 1

Landscapes are dotted with flowering Jacaranda trees during March, and their blue-violet colors can be seen from above when still on the plane. The curious plants lining the hillsides are Agave, succulents farmed as the key ingredient in tequila, as everyone knows, a main export for Mexico. Agave apparently flower every twenty years, with amazing tall flower stalks up to about six feet high or more. After flowering the plants dies and need replacing.
